Scientists from Masaryk University leave for polar expedition in the Arctic
Climatologist Kamil Láska and plant physiologist Miloš Barták from the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University left for an expedition to the Svalbard islands in the Arctic on 26 June 2009. A week after this the ecologist Olga Bohuslavová completed the group of Masaryk University scientists in the Arctic. The scientists´ work is part of a research expedition organized by Jihočeská University in České Budějovice. The Brno scientists will return to the Czech Republic at the end of July 2009.
