Masaryk University awards crusader against death penalty

Robert Badinter, a famous lawyer and former French Minister of Justice, who is worldwide known for his fight against the death penalty, recieved Gold Medal of Masaryk University. The medal was conferred by Dean of Faculty of Law Naděžda Rozehnalová during Badinter´s visit at Masaryk University in April. Professor Badinter, now 83, who enforced abolition of death penalty in France in 1981, still continues to battle against the death penalty in China and the United States.
